The LIP Annapurna watch pays tribute to the human achievement of 1950, with the conquest of the first summit above 8,000 meters. This piece, powered by the LIP Manufacture Movement, is offered in polished and brushed 316L stainless steel with a 39 mm diameter. It houses the LIP R26 caliber, a mechanical automatic movement, the first of its kind designed in Besançon since Fred LIP.
Its dial, in a white hue, is sunburst at the center and sandblasted around the numerals, protected by a domed, anti-reflective treated sapphire crystal. This crystal highlights the applied rose gold-plated Arabic numeral indexes, as well as the rose gold-plated skeleton hands. A printed railway track adds an additional touch of sophistication.
The smooth camel-colored genuine leather strap, secured with a chrome pin buckle exclusive to LIP Manufacture, brings both comfort and elegance. The automatic movement is fully visible through the screwed-down transparent case back with a flat crystal, showcasing the large balance wheel oscillating at 3 hertz, ensuring enhanced precision. The LIP logo subtly appears with the movement of the oscillating mass.
Water-resistant up to 50 meters, this watch is individually numbered but is not part of a limited edition. A timepiece with a decidedly "vintage" style, it will elegantly adorn any wrist.

This is Besançon's first self-winding Manufacture movement since Fred Lip. Redesigned in-house with the help of Besançon's SupMicroTech engineering school, it features a power reserve of 42 hours when fully wound, a hacking second hand, and a date display. With over 70% French value in terms of production, this movement, whose balance wheel oscillates at 21,600 beats per hour (3 Hertz), features the LIP logo on its gear bridge and oscillating weight, which seem to overlap enchantingly with its oscillations. Equipped with specific hexagonal screws for the gear bridges, balance, and oscillating weight, it is fully assembled, cased, and inspected by the master watchmakers working in LIP's Besançon workshops.
ANNAPURNA - R26
Reach the peaks
In tribute to the achievement of the French climbers Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal, who conquered the first peak over 8000 meters, the "Annapurna" collection was launched by Fred Lip in 1951, before being renamed Himalaya after the ascent of Everest in 1953. Today, LIP reintroduces this iconic watch featuring the R26 movement, combining a 39 mm polished stainless steel or PVD gold case with a black or silver dial. Water-resistant up to 50 meters, the Annapurna celebrates the golden age of mechanical watchmaking and positions itself as a classic prestige piece dedicated to adventurers.
