Made in France - Besançon
Beautiful design in soft colours. We love its skeleton hourglass cut-out, which lets you admire the passage of time. This Lip Himalaya automatic watch has a totally unexpected look, a touch of vintage, classicism but also modernity; this model is sure to please anyone looking for an extraordinary model. Its polished 316L stainless steel case houses an hourglass-shaped skeleton dial in grey, protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The hour-markers are silvered, the hands are silvered and partially luminescent, and the second hand has a red tip. The strap is in smooth camel-coloured cowhide with white stitching, and closes with a pin buckle. Water-resistant to 50 m, it has a transparent screw-down caseback. A great watch for all adventurers.

About himalaya
A French story
HIMALAYA
MAURICE HERZOG & LOUIS LACHENAL
In 1950, Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal reached the summit of Annapurna. For the first time in the history of mankind, men conquered a peak above 8,000 m. They were French, and it was with their LIP Himalaya watches that they looked at the time as they reached the top of the ‘first 8,000’. Five years later, in the spring of 1955, Lionel Terray and Jean Couzy set a new Himalayan record by making the first ascent of Makalu, the 5th highest peak in the world at an altitude of 8,485 m. Two world records for the same watch model!
