LIP Ambassador: ROBIN BAR Outdoor photographer

LIP is delighted to announce its new partnership with Robin BAR, brand ambassador, nature lover and passionate outdoor photographer.

Robin BAR, a young mountain reporter from Clermont-Ferrand, describes himself above all as a true amateur. Born in Grenoble, he has lived from an early age in an environment where trees and mountains meet, and never spends 24 hours without an outdoor activity, whether it's climbing, mountaineering or ski touring in winter. From his father, an experienced mountain guide, he inherits a passion for the beauty of nature, but also for sharing hikes, discovering and respecting the flora and fauna. In his spare time, he also teaches climbing to young and old alike, passing on his skills and experience to new climbers.

As you can imagine, when he's not climbing or hiking, he takes the time with his discerning eye to immortalise every moment of life, the landscapes, the flora and fauna, and also to photograph mountain rescuers in their extraordinary daily lives. These are colourful images, as if time were suspended from his lens, and he passionately shares these moments of escape with us.

Robin was simply looking for a watch for a wedding ceremony, and he fell under the spell of the LIP brand, with which he shares the values of humility, accuracy and filiation, as well as the history of the French watchmaking house.

He wears Himalaya models on a daily basis, or a Nautic Ski, which like him was born in Grenoble, at the time of the 1968 Olympic Games, and never fails to attach it to his wrist for a crazy ski descent of Mont Aiguille or a bivouac on rock faces. Robin decided to set off on a mission with LIP, a great team: one to immortalise time and the other to draw it.

We wish him the best of luck in the pursuit of his projects, and whether it's with the Nautic Ski, the Nautic Fantôme, The Grande Nautic or the Himalayas, he'll tell you that ‘beyond time, the important thing in life is to have time’.
