Lip revives its legendary SAV model from the 1960s. In 1964, in order to promote his brand new battery-operated electromechanical movement, Fred LIP had the idea of creating the ‘After-Sales Service’ watch. So when a customer came to have his Lip watch serviced or repaired, his authorised retailer offered him a most precious service: a courtesy watch. This identically recreated model has a 35 mm gold case that fits both men's and women's wrists. The dial is in the original design, with the blue words ‘Après vente Votre Horloger vous prête l'heure’ (‘After sale, your watchmaker lends you the time’). Its black crocodile-style cowhide leather strap has a gold pin buckle. Its screw-down caseback ensures water resistance to 50 metres. A resolutely vintage model, with a touch of nostalgia.

In 1964, in order to promote his brand new battery-operated electromechanical movement, Fred LIP had the idea of creating the ‘After-Sales Service’ watch. When a customer came to have their mechanical LIP watch serviced by an approved retailer, they were lent a LIP watch with a dial marked ‘SAV - VOTRE HORLOGER VOUS PRETE L'HEURE’ and equipped with the new electromechanical movement. Customers had the pleasure of experiencing the precision and ease of use of this revolutionary battery-operated movement.
