Developed in the late 1960s for the North American market, the Nautic 666, nicknamed the "Devil Diver," is renowned for its dial indicating a maximum depth of 200 meters. This LIP Nautic 666 Manufacture Movement watch features a brushed 39 mm 316L stainless steel case and is equipped with a 120-click unidirectional diving bezel with a black anodized aluminum insert.
Dressed in a black sunburst-finished dial, it is powered by the LIP R26 caliber, the first automatic mechanical movement manufactured in Besançon since Fred LIP. Sporty in design, it boasts a slightly domed double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal with a magnifying lens over the date display, protecting the dial adorned with luminescent indices.
The watch is worn on a black elastomer strap secured by a chromed pin buckle embossed with the LIP logo. This brand-new automatic movement, crafted in France, is visible through the screwed transparent case back with a flat crystal, allowing you to admire the large oscillating balance at 3 hertz for enhanced precision, as well as the appearance of the LIP logo in sync with the movements of the oscillating weight.
Water-resistant up to 200 meters and individually numbered, this unique piece is not part of a limited series, offering an exclusivity that will appeal to watch enthusiasts.

This is Besançon's first self-winding Manufacture movement since Fred Lip. Redesigned in-house with the help of Besançon's SupMicroTech engineering school, it features a power reserve of 42 hours when fully wound, a hacking second hand, and a date display. With over 70% French value in terms of production, this movement, whose balance wheel oscillates at 21,600 beats per hour (3 Hertz), features the LIP logo on its gear bridge and oscillating weight, which seem to overlap enchantingly with its oscillations. Equipped with specific hexagonal screws for the gear bridges, balance, and oscillating weight, it is fully assembled, cased, and inspected by the master watchmakers working in LIP's Besançon workshops.
NAUTIC 666 - R26
The hell of a diver
Developed in the late 1960s for the North American market, the Nautic 666, nicknamed "Devil Diver," is famous for its dial indicating a maximum depth of 200 meters. Fred Lip, bold in his communication, dared to display this technical specification, defying the superstitions of the time. Today, this legendary model makes its return in the LIP collection with a 39 mm stainless steel case, a rotating bezel, and a transparent case back revealing the R26 movement, the first automatic movement from the manufacture since Fred Lip.
