Discover the LIP Type 14 Manufacture Movement watch, inspired by the legendary Type 14 aircraft watch. With its 41 mm black PVD-treated 316L stainless steel case, it combines elegance and durability. The bidirectional rotating inner bezel, featuring triangular indice, is easily operated via its dedicated screw-down crown.
Beneath its black dial, textured to evoke the tarmac of an airport, lies the LIP R26 caliber, the first automatic mechanical movement designed in Besançon since Fred LIP. Protected by a slightly domed anti-reflective treated sapphire crystal, it showcases luminescent Arabic numerals in an "old radium" design.
Elegantly mounted on a brushed 316L stainless steel bracelet composed of three rows of links, the watch secures with a deployant clasp. The French automatic movement is visible through the screwed transparent case back, equipped with a flat crystal, allowing you to admire the oscillating balance at 3 hertz, ensuring remarkable precision, as well as the appearance of the LIP logo in sync with the movements of the oscillating weight.
Water-resistant up to 100 meters and individually numbered, this unique piece is not part of a limited series, offering an exclusivity that will appeal to connoisseurs of exceptional watches.

This is Besançon's first self-winding Manufacture movement since Fred Lip. Redesigned in-house with the help of Besançon's SupMicroTech engineering school, it features a power reserve of 42 hours when fully wound, a hacking second hand, and a date display. With over 70% French value in terms of production, this movement, whose balance wheel oscillates at 21,600 beats per hour (3 Hertz), features the LIP logo on its gear bridge and oscillating weight, which seem to overlap enchantingly with its oscillations. Equipped with specific hexagonal screws for the gear bridges, balance, and oscillating weight, it is fully assembled, cased, and inspected by the master watchmakers working in LIP's Besançon workshops.
TYPE 14 - R26
Spread Your Wings
To meet the demands of pilots, watchmakers created robust timepieces suitable for cockpit conditions, such as the Type 14 from LIP, launched in the 1930s to equip French fighter planes. In homage to these iconic machines, LIP presents a contemporary wristwatch inspired by the Type 14. Featuring a 41 mm stainless steel case, water-resistant up to 100 meters, and equipped with an internal rotating bezel, it showcases a textured black dial reminiscent of tarmac, powered by the R26 movement, the first automatic movement from the manufacture since Fred Lip.
