LIP is pleased to announce the recruitment of Armand Pfister, a talented and passionate young rower, as its new ambassador. This partnership reflects LIP’s commitment to supporting athletes who embody the spirit of excellence, determination, and authenticity.
Born in 2002 and hailing from Bourget-du-Lac, Armand Pfister has been practicing rowing since the age of 10. Initially a playful activity, the sport quickly turned into a true passion and, even more so, a driving force in his life. Through years of rigorous training, he joined the French Rowing Federation’s Pôle France in Lyon at the age of 17. His days are filled with strength training sessions and water-based workouts, combining demanding physical preparation with strong mental discipline to reach his high-level goals.
In 2023, Armand achieved a significant milestone in his young career by winning a bronze medal in the U23 World Championships in Plovdiv, competing in the coxless four alongside Florian Ludwig, Alistair Gicqueau, and Nikola Kolarevic. This marked a first for the French Rowing Federation in this category. As a reserve for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Armand continues to progress with the aim of shining in international competitions.
