LIP C'est Possible! On 18 June 1973, all the workers at LIP, united to oppose the dismantling of their work tool by the sole and unique will of the majority shareholder, took up the phrase just uttered by Charles Piaget: ‘It's possible! We manufacture, we sell, we pay ourselves. Now famous, this phrase still embodies the struggle of the men and women now known as ‘the LIPs’. LIP, which has been manufacturing LIP watches again in Besançon for 10 years now, wishes to affirm, 50 years after the start of the ‘LIP’ struggle, that ‘It's possible!’ After the repatriation of watch production to Besançon, it is now the stage of re-industrialisation of the movements, with the rebirth of the famous T18 Original caliber.
