The sports watch by excellence in the Lip collection, the Nautic-Ski GMT, in its large 41mm size, has all the qualities required to meet the specific needs of diving. Its super-compressor case in 316L stainless steel is perfectly water-resistant to 200 m and houses an automatic movement with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, which you can admire in operation thanks to the transparent screw-down caseback. Its internal bezel offers a second, easy-to-read 24-hour time display on a magnificent brilliant sunray-blue dial covered with anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Its perforated blue tropic strap ensures perfect comfort when diving or in your daily activities. Its two crowns have been oversized to make them easier to grip when wearing gloves, and one of them allows you to activate the dark blue internal bezel for calculating dive time. Its hour-markers and hands are coated with Super Luminova for perfect legibility, even at great depths. A limited edition of 599 pieces, delivered in a special box, not to be missed!

About nautic-ski
NAUTIC SKI
DIVER’S WATCH, 1967
Lip's Nautic-Ski is no ordinary diver's watch. It left its mark on the history of French watchmaking with its famous internal rotating bezel, its so-called ‘compressor’ case and its thick, highly curved crystal.
Produced in the spring of 1967 to mark the brand's centenary and showcased at the 1968 Grenoble Olympic Games, it claimed to be the first French watch to be water-resistant to 200 m. Its water resistance was soon put to the test: the Nautic-Ski was adopted by Eric Tabarly and Captain Cousteau's team. Its special name comes from Fred Lip's desire to create a timepiece suited to the most extreme sports. ‘Nautic’ comes from its remarkable water-resistance and the word ‘Ski’ bears witness to the passion for gliding and speed of Fred Lip and his daughter, Muriel, who was a member of the French women's alpine ski team from 1950 to 1956.
LIP Besançon is once again manufacturing this model in its most authentic version: Nautic-Ski mechanical movement with automatic winding.
