This very elegant LIP Himalaya timepiece, crafted entirely from 316L stainless steel, is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement. Its deep blue dial features a subdial at 3 o’clock displaying the month, a date window at 6 o’clock, and another subdial at 9 o’clock indicating the day. The case is both polished and brushed, and the dial includes silver-toned Arabic numeral hour markers and matching silver hands. The seconds hand stands out with a red-tipped pointer. The whole is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
Its flexible stainless steel bracelet fastens with a secure deployment clasp. Water-resistant to 50 meters, the watch also has a screwed-down transparent case back, allowing you to admire the movement in action.
A timepiece with a modest diameter, perfect for those seeking comfort, reliability, and useful features.

HIMALAYA
MAURICE HERZOG & LOUIS LACHENAL
In 1950, Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal reached the summit of Annapurna. For the first time in the history of mankind, men conquered a peak above 8,000 m. They were French, and it was with their LIP Himalaya watches that they looked at the time as they reached the top of the ‘first 8,000’. Five years later, in the spring of 1955, Lionel Terray and Jean Couzy set a new Himalayan record by making the first ascent of Makalu, the 5th highest peak in the world at an altitude of 8,485 m. Two world records for the same watch model!
