This Lip Himalaya watch, with its highly elegant and distinctive style, has a 40 mm case in polished and brushed 316L stainless steel, mounted on a smooth brown calfskin strap with tone-on-tone topstitching and fitted with a chrome buckle bearing the LIP logo. Its very dark green dial features white Arabic numerals and a counter at 6 o'clock for the small seconds. The long, slender hands are also white for easy reading and are protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. This quartz model with its screw-down caseback is water-resistant to 50 metres. A timeless, reliable watch that will accompany you in your daily life with style and presence.

A French storyHIMALAYAMAURICE HERZOG & LOUIS LACHENALIn 1950, Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal reached the summit of Annapurna. For the first time in the history of mankind, men conquered a peak above 8,000 m. They were French, and it was with their LIP Himalaya watches that they looked at the time as they reached the top of the ‘first 8,000’. Five years later, in the spring of 1955, Lionel Terray and Jean Couzy set a new Himalayan record by making the first ascent of Makalu, the 5th highest peak in the world at an altitude of 8,485 m. Two world records for the same watch model!
