This Lip Himalaya chronograph has a polished case in 316L stainless steel. In addition to its split-second chronograph function up to 60 minutes, it measures intermediate times, displays tachymeter and telemeter functions, as well as a date window and a 24-hour hand. Water-resistant to 50 m, it has a screw-down caseback and a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Its smooth brown calfskin strap with tone-on-tone stitching is fastened with a pin buckle. Its white dial covered with pink gold hour markers and hands gives this watch a retro-chic look. A sporty, comfortable, hard-wearing watch with a resolutely wise look.

About himalaya
A French story
HIMALAYA
MAURICE HERZOG & LOUIS LACHENAL
In 1950, Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal reached the summit of Annapurna. For the first time in the history of mankind, men conquered a peak above 8,000 m. They were French, and it was with their LIP Himalaya watches that they looked at the time as they reached the top of the ‘first 8,000’. Five years later, in the spring of 1955, Lionel Terray and Jean Couzy set a new Himalayan record by making the first ascent of Makalu, the 5th highest peak in the world at an altitude of 8,485 m. Two world records for the same watch model!
